About the role

Applied AI/ML Engineer at Oddball, a federal-space software company, building production ML and GenAI (RAG, agents, LLM) features. Fully remote within the DMV area. Standard US work authorization required; some federal-contract roles may need citizenship/clearance (unstated whether this one does).

Requirements

• Strong ML foundations (model selection, training, validation, evaluation)
• Experience deploying ML models in production
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries
• Experience with LLMs, embeddings, prompt-driven systems
• Must be authorized to work in the US; some roles may additionally require citizenship/clearance under federal contracts

What you'll do

• Design, develop, deploy ML/AI features into production
• Apply supervised/unsupervised/deep learning to structured and unstructured data
• Build classification, ranking, prediction, NLP, anomaly detection models
• Develop GenAI solutions (LLM workflows, RAG, agents)
• Implement data pipelines and feature engineering
