About the role

Backend / Applied AI Software Engineer. Build backend APIs and data pipelines for AI features; integrate LLMs, embeddings, classification, RAG and third-party AI tools. Optimize reliability and cost, write tests and work with cross-functional teams. Required one of Python/JS/TS/PHP/Go, backend systems/APIs, cloud familiarity, SQL/NoSQL, software design/system architecture, AI APIs/prompt engineering/embeddings/vector search/model evaluation. Production AI, vector DB, LangChain/LlamaIndex, ML, Docker/Kubernetes, event-driven systems, React/Next preferred.

Requirements

• Proficiency in at least one of Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, or Go
• Experience building backend systems and APIs
• Cloud familiarity
• SQL or NoSQL
• Software design and system architecture
• AI APIs, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, or model evaluation
