OnePay is a consumer fintech (backed by Walmart, Ribbit Capital) building banking, investing, and crypto products. Backend Engineer on the Crypto team building APIs/infra for buying and holding digital assets. Stack: Node/TypeScript/NestJS, Kubernetes, AWS.

Requirements

5+ years professional backend or distributed systems development
Experience with L2 blockchains, protocols, crypto infrastructure
Production-grade APIs and financial services at scale
Proficiency in Node.js or similar (TypeScript, NestJS, Go, or Java)
Cloud-native architecture (Kubernetes, AWS), event-driven/microservices

What you'll do

Build and maintain backend services for crypto products
Design APIs and event-driven architectures for high-volume transaction processing
Partner with platform/infra engineers on scalability, observability, resilience
Contribute to documentation, tooling, best practices
