About the role

Mapon builds B2B SaaS for fleet/vehicle/driver/equipment management (35,000+ clients, 400,000+ connected devices, EUR24.2M revenue). Hiring a CTO reporting to CEO to modernize the platform, scale a 50+ engineer org, and drive technology strategy, architecture, reliability, AI adoption and M&A integration.

Requirements

• Led a multi-team engineering organization (50+) in commercial B2B SaaS through growth, modernization or organizational change
• Built and coached managers and senior technical leaders
• Strong architectural judgment across data-intensive systems, APIs, integrations, production services
• Accountable for production systems: availability, observability, incident response, security, technical risk
• Made technology portfolio decisions with commercial judgment (invest/simplify/buy/migrate/stop)
• Partnered with Product on customer and business outcomes
• Communicated with executives, boards, enterprise customers, senior engineers
• Fluent English, works across multiple European countries
• Advantageous: IoT/M2M/telematics/hardware-connected software, high-volume telemetry/event processing, transport/logistics/fleet/regulated software, private-cloud/on-prem/hybrid infra, technical due diligence and post-acquisition integration, AI-assisted engineering at scale
