About the role

Advanced inspection and CMM programming role for precision machined components in semiconductor and life science contract manufacturing with cleanroom capabilities. Day shift Mon-Thurs, occasional overtime.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in CMM programming, metrology or quality control preferred
• Minimum 5 years as a quality control inspector in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum 2-3 years developing, modifying and running CMM programs, preferably CNC machining, aerospace or automotive
• Proficiency with PC-DMIS, Calypso or equivalent CMM programming software
• High understanding of GD&T in precision machining and inspection
• Ability to read complex engineering drawings, blueprints and CAD models
• Proficiency taking manual measurements on granite with precision instruments
• Skill identifying and managing product key characteristics
• Knowledge of quality control processes and inspection documentation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• ISO 9001 or AS9100 knowledge is a plus
• Must be eligible to work in roles subject to U.S. export control regulations

What you'll do

• Inspect raw materials, in-process products, finished goods and first articles against drawings, GD&T and customer specs
• Develop, write, modify, validate and maintain CMM programs from drawings and CAD models
