Requirements

• 5+ years of professional production Rust experience
• Deep expertise in data parallelism and concurrency patterns
• Strong command of memory layout, SIMD optimizations, and heap allocation strategies
• Native or fluent English speaker
• 20-40 hours per week availability
• Self-directed independent engineering decisions

What you'll do

• Design, build, and optimize high-performance Rust systems for AI data pipelines and evaluation
• Develop full-stack annotation, validation, and quality-control tooling
• Profile and eliminate performance bottlenecks
• Improve reliability, safety, and performance of production Rust codebases
• Collaborate with data, research, and engineering teams
• Participate in synchronous design reviews
