About the role

Thompson Thrift is a national multifamily developer. Director of Development owns West Region projects (incl. Texas) from LOI through entitlement, due diligence, budgeting, and construction loan closing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• 6+ years real estate development experience
• 3+ years management experience
• understanding of pro formas, yield, spread, cap rates, underwriting

What you'll do

• Own multifamily development projects from LOI through construction loan closing across TX/ID/CO/NV/AZ/MT
• Liaise with city officials on entitlements and approvals
• Review pro formas with Acquisitions team
• Manage due diligence timelines
• Coordinate zoning, entitlement, title/survey issues
• Support comprehensive project budgeting
• Coordinate civil engineering/architectural design
