About the role

The Head of IT owns the corporate technology behind AutogenAI's growth: identity and access, devices, offices and networks, the SaaS estate, and the IT side of the security and compliance programme. Hands-on leadership role managing a first-line support specialist, working alongside the Head of GRC and Platform team.

Requirements

• 5+ years in IT operations, including at least 2 in a lead or management role, in a multi-office or largely remote company
• Hands-on experience taking IT controls through at least two of ISO 27001/27017/27018, Cyber Essentials Plus, DCC, SOC 2 or IRAP - candidates without this experience won't be progressed
• Current, hands-on administration across M365, Entra ID, conditional access, Intune, Defender, Exchange and SharePoint governance
• Practical office networking and firewall administration experience (e.g. Meraki, Fortigate)
• Owned renewals, negotiated with suppliers, run a purchasing process
• Managed at least one person
• Willing to undergo national security vetting to at least BPSS level

What you'll do

• Own identity and access (M365, Entra ID, Global Admin, conditional access, SSO/SCIM)
• Manage device lifecycle across three countries (procurement, Intune, patching, encryption, disposal)
• Own joiners/movers/leavers process with People and hiring managers
• Run IT for London and Gold Coast offices; set standards and support NY/Gold Coast remotely
