About the role

Verda is scaling quickly across infrastructure, customers, geographies, and headcount. We're looking for a Head of IT to take ownership of Verda's internal IT function end-to-end, from identity and access management through to SaaS, devices, corporate infrastructure, vendors, controls, and the processes that keep the organisation operating securely. This is a senior role with significant autonomy.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to own an IT function or significant IT environment end-to-end
• Deep technical understanding of IAM, endpoint management, SaaS, networking, and IT infrastructure
• Strong understanding of IT security, access control, authentication, device security, and operational risk
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Experience supporting international or distributed organisations
• Comfortable operating with incomplete information and making decisions quickly

What you'll do

• Own Verda's internal corporate IT strategy and operating model as it scales
• Build and operate a secure, reliable, and scalable internal IT environment
• Own identity and access management, device/endpoint management, and core SaaS systems
• Advance and maintain IT policies, standards, controls, and operational processes
• Own onboarding, offboarding, device lifecycle, and employee IT processes
• Partner with Security and Compliance on IT security controls and compliance
• Manage IT vendors, contracts, procurement, and performance
