About the role

A newly established, diversified credit hedge fund is looking for a technically versatile Hedge Fund Technologist for a broad role spanning development, data, cloud, business applications and infrastructure, reporting to the C-suite.

Requirements

• Around 1 year of professional experience
• Good experience with Python and SQL/PostgreSQL
• Exposure to Microsoft 365, Azure and/or Power Platform
• Genuine interest in AI and its application in finance
• Strong communication skills with non-technical stakeholders
• Proactive, hands-on approach

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain internal tooling and automation primarily using Python
• Work with PostgreSQL for database development, querying and performance optimisation
• Support Microsoft 365 and Azure environment including Entra and SharePoint
• Build workflows and reporting through Power BI and Power Automate
• Provide technical support across infrastructure and trading environment
• Identify opportunities to use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude
