Careerscape (a staffing/recruiting firm) is recruiting on behalf of an unnamed VC-backed, fast-growing Austin tech client for a fully remote Help Desk Support Specialist. First point of contact for hardware/software/network/account issues, ticketing, AD/Google Workspace/M365 administration, onboarding/offboarding equipment logistics. $65,000-$80,000/yr.

Requirements

1-2 years help desk/desktop support/IT support experience
Working knowledge of Windows and macOS
Familiarity with Active Directory, Google Workspace, or Microsoft 365 administration
Experience with ticketing systems (Zendesk, Jira, Freshservice)
Basic networking concepts (VPN, DNS, Wi-Fi)
CompTIA A+ or similar certification a plus

What you'll do

First point of contact for employee IT support via ticketing/chat/email
Triage and resolve hardware/software/network issues remotely
Provision and configure laptops/peripherals/accounts for new hires
Manage user accounts and permissions in AD/Google Workspace/M365
Troubleshoot VPN/Wi-Fi/connectivity issues
Document recurring issues and maintain knowledge base
Support onboarding/offboarding and hardware inventory
