About the role

Seeking an Instrument Engineer to join the Drilling Fluids (DCF) & PT Laboratory team in Kuwait. Role takes dedicated technical ownership of laboratory instrumentation - equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation for a lab that tests drilling fluids (HPHT viscometers, filter presses, mud balances, etc.). This is a maintenance/calibration role, not design engineering.

Requirements

• 5-8 years experience in instrumentation, calibration, maintenance, or laboratory equipment
• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering
• Oil & Gas / Laboratory Instrumentation background preferred

What you'll do

• Plan and maintain preventive maintenance and calibration schedules for laboratory equipment
• Coordinate calibration of critical laboratory instruments
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and coordinate repairs
• Maintain calibration certificates and service records
• Support installation, commissioning and validation of new lab equipment
