Instrumentation and Control Engineer

About the role

Senior Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Systems Engineer to provide technical expertise and oversight for I&C design on liquids and natural gas pipeline facilities projects. Lead designs developed by third-party engineering firms and MACs, ensuring compliance with company standards, industry codes, project scope, budget, and schedule. 1-Year Term.

Requirements

• Engineering degree (Instrumentation, Electrical, Chemical, Process Controls) or equivalent
• 10+ years engineering and project management experience
• Oil & gas (liquids, natural gas) and renewable energy project experience
• Control systems knowledge: C&E diagrams, alarm management, shutdown systems, philosophies, I/O assignments, panel design
• Experience with Schneider, GE Rx3i, ControlLogix
• 25% Site Travel (US Eligible)
• Driver's Abstract Required

What you'll do

• Lead design development and oversight of I&C, Measurement, IT/OT Communications, and Control Systems scope
• Represent I&C discipline in milestone reviews, design reviews, technical discussions
• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, Process, Measurement, Operations, Procurement, Commissioning, SCADA, IT/OT, Cybersecurity
• Define project scope, facilitate hazard assessments, design reviews, FATs
• Manage MACs and telecom providers
