Seeking a Lead Software Developer to serve as the technical lead and primary developer/technical owner for a mission-critical utilities software platform (Java, C++, AI-based components), combining hands-on development with architecture ownership, customer collaboration, and technical decision-making across the full product line. Salary $165,000-$185,000. U.S. citizenship required due to critical infrastructure/regulatory screening requirements.

Requirements

Serve as sole technical leader and technical owner of a mission-critical software platform
Design, develop and maintain software in Java and C++
Drive integration and evolution of AI/ML capabilities
Establish software architecture, engineering standards, and drive technical decision-making across the SDLC
Own the technical roadmap for the entire product line
Serve as primary technical resource for customer engagements, including travel (~15%)
Experience with electric utilities or other mission-critical/real-time visualization systems preferred
U.S. citizenship required due to critical infrastructure customer/regulatory requirements
