Principal Research Scientist - Autonomous Systems

About the role

Hybrid principal R&D role leading autonomous-systems research, software prototypes and customer-facing programs spanning AI-enabled cybersecurity, adversarial ML, LLMs, reinforcement learning and network models. Requires PhD plus 7 years and U.S. citizenship for Secret-or-higher clearance.

Requirements

• PhD in computer science or related field and minimum 7 years experience
• Research publications and hands-on research solution development
• Strong background in AI, cybersecurity and autonomous systems
• Modern AI models and tools including transformers, feature engineering and deep neural networks
• Strong communication and presentation
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain Secret or higher clearance

• Lead and conduct research for autonomous systems across domains
• Define research programs and approaches and provide technical vision
• Prototype, test and demonstrate solutions
• Engage customers, pitch concepts and present research
• Write R&D proposals and lead research execution
