About the role

Turing is hiring a Software Engineering evaluator to create datasets for training and benchmarking large language models, curating and correcting code primarily in Python with additional JavaScript/React, C/C++, Java, Rust, and Go work. Contractor role, flexible 10-40 hrs/week, 1 month duration.

Requirements

• 3+ years software engineering experience
• Strong expertise in Python
• Experience building full-stack applications and deploying scalable software
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design, debugging, code quality
• Excellent written/oral communication
• Must be based in the United States

What you'll do

• Curate code examples and datasets for LLM training/benchmarking primarily in Python, plus JavaScript/React, C/C++, Java, Rust, Go
• Evaluate and refine AI-generated code for efficiency, scalability, reliability
• Build agents and automated verification tools in Python
• Design verification mechanisms for software engineering tasks
