Senior Applied Scientist, Generative AI

About the role

Hands-on GenAI research-to-production role covering small-language-model fine-tuning, RAG and agentic workflows, embeddings, evaluation, and deployment; remote outside listed hybrid hubs.

Requirements

• PhD plus 2 years relevant experience, or Master's plus 4 years, or Bachelor's plus 6 years
• Transformer LMs and fine-tuning such as LoRA/QLoRA and instruction tuning
• Hands-on RAG, retrieval, chunking, embeddings, vector search, and agentic tool use
• Python, PyTorch, experimental design, and model evaluation
• Experience with production MLOps, containers, and cloud deployment

What you'll do

• Design, fine-tune, evaluate, and deploy generative AI solutions
• Build RAG and agentic workflows
• Develop scalable embedding and document pipelines
• Create groundedness, accuracy, safety, and regression evaluations
• Deploy services on Kubernetes and optimize production performance
