Senior individual contributor owning business-critical PHP/MySQL applications and driving modernization to a React/TypeScript stack within a disciplined DevSecOps process.

Requirements

• 6+ years professional software engineering on production web applications, 7-10+ preferred
• Strong hands-on PHP and MySQL experience with established production applications
• Strong modern JavaScript/TypeScript with React or comparable frontend
• Strong relational database design and SQL
• Automated testing, Git-based delivery workflows, code review, secure development
• CI/CD practices, Linux-based environments, application security
• Hands-on AI-assisted development tools with human oversight

What you'll do

• Maintain and improve PHP/MySQL production applications
• Lead incremental modernization toward React/TypeScript/Next.js/Prisma/PostgreSQL
• Design components, responsive accessible UIs, APIs, data models, and migrations
• Build CI/CD with security checks, release controls, and rollback procedures
• Diagnose production issues via logs, monitoring, and Linux tooling
• Mentor team members on architecture and delivery standards
