About the role

Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer to support design, development and delivery of major industrial, process plant, and energy projects (greenfield and brownfield), Perth WA, 12-month contract via Airswift. Only candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered (Citizen, PR Holder, or valid Australia working VISA).

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control Systems, or related Engineering discipline
• Proven experience in Instrumentation & Control Engineering in industrial, mining, green energy, utilities, or process plant environments
• Strong understanding of control systems, instrumentation, and communications networks
• Experience with PLC, DCS, SCADA, and industrial automation systems
• Knowledge of Functional Safety principles and relevant standards
• Experience with industrial cybersecurity requirements and compliance
• Demonstrated experience on greenfield and brownfield projects

What you'll do

• Perform high-level Control Systems and Instrumentation engineering activities
• Define, coordinate and review detailed technical studies for process plants, utilities, infrastructure and energy projects
• Support brownfield modifications and upgrades
• Assist with project scoping, concept development and cost estimating
