About the role

Senior cloud SDE on Intel's Communication Runtimes team, developing oneCCL (Collective Communications Library) for data-center Intel GPUs/CPUs, with direct collaboration on the Aurora supercomputer at Argonne. Minimum qualifications: Master's degree in CS/CE/STEM; 3+ years software development, Linux development, and C/C++; multithreaded/parallel computing; plus at least one specialized area (distributed computing, HPC/collective communications libraries, GPU software, network stack). Hillsboro OR, hybrid, full-time.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a STEM related field
• 3+ years of software development experience
• 3+ years of Linux environment development experience
• 3+ years of C and C++ programming experience
• Experience with multithreaded programming and parallel computing concepts
• Specialized experience, at least one of: distributed computing systems, HPC communications libraries, collective communications libraries (MPI, oneCCL/NCCL, SHMEM), GPU software development and optimization, network communications stack development

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced features and performance optimizations for oneCCL, Intel's Collective Communications Library
• Optimize software for low latency, high bandwidth, and high reliability
• Implement and enhance communication protocols across multiple layers of the communications stack
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers on the Aurora supercomputer at Argonne National Labs
