About the role

Technical leader for diagnostics across NVIDIA's partner ecosystem: validate, debug, and optimize complex server platforms (GB200 NVL72-class data center systems) across ODM factories, CSP deployments, and field operations. On-site in Hillsboro, OR; base pay $224,000-$356,500 (Level 5) or $272,000-$431,250 (Level 6) plus equity. Requires 12+ years in diagnostics, embedded systems, or cloud platforms, SW/HW interface experience, x86/ARM, Linux/Windows internals, UEFI/BIOS, BMC, C/C++/Python, and PCIe/InfiniBand/NVLink/Ethernet interconnects.

Requirements

• 12+ years of engineering experience in diagnostics, embedded systems, or cloud platforms
• Proven experience architecting diagnostics for complex server systems at the SW/HW interface
• Deep systems knowledge: x86/ARM architectures, Linux/Windows OS internals, UEFI/BIOS firmware, BMC, platform security
• Expertise in C, C++, and Python for tool development and automation
• Familiarity with high-speed interconnects: PCIe, InfiniBand, NVLink, Ethernet
• Strong communication skills with technical and executive teams
• BS/MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field

What you'll do

• Develop diagnostic systems and worst-case stress workloads for CPUs, GPUs, memory, storage, and interconnects in data center platforms like GB200 NVL72
• Lead platform bring-up and integration so diagnostics are embedded early across the server lifecycle
• Drive hardware validation strategy with architecture and hardware teams
• Analyze root causes of complex failures as Level 2 engineering contact
