About the role

Mon-Fri 5:00am-1:30pm on-site nesting role creating CNC laser/plasma cutting programs with SigmaNest; overtime as required, pay depends on experience.

Requirements

• SigmaNest software experience
• Read, understand and interpret 2D geometry files, 3D models and blueprints
• AutoCAD and CNC programming experience
• 2+ years of manufacturing process experience and demonstrated drafting standards knowledge, or comparable education
• Understanding of manufacturing methods, capabilities, procedures and standards
• Team oriented and results driven
• High attention to detail and ability to work from written instructions and engineering drawings
• Elementary math, trigonometry and geometry
• Independent problem solving with strong communication skills

What you'll do

• Create and provide accurate CNC programs using SigmaNest for Laser/Plasma cutting
• Optimize material utilization
