About the role

Software Engineer, Build Systems on the Developer Experience team within Advanced Development. Design, implement and operate the build systems behind Roku's embedded software products. The team works in modern Linux embedded C++, CI systems, complex AWS cloud backend systems and web platforms.

Requirements

• Design, implement and operate build systems bringing together every component of Roku's embedded software products
• Work in modern Linux embedded C++, CI systems, complex AWS cloud backend systems and web platforms
• Enable build systems to integrate with AI agents and automation

What you'll do

• Operate build pipelines for set-top boxes, televisions and soundbars on resource-constrained hardware
• Serve as connective tissue between engineering teams and their tools
• Ship feature enhancements and bug fixes with partner teams
