Requirements

• Writing production quality code at fast pace
• Designing, shipping, and maintaining complex tech products
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Python experience including idiomatic/Pythonic practices and ecosystem
• Experience building/maintaining systems on AWS or other cloud providers using infrastructure-as-code
• Open to all experience levels (junior through senior/staff)
• Must undergo criminal record check and obtain baseline personnel security standard (BPSS) clearance before appointment; strong preference for CTC clearance eligibility
• Open to any nationality or background (does not require standard nationality/citizenship rules)

What you'll do

• Build tools and infrastructure used across AISI's research work (e.g. Inspect evaluation framework)
• Add features to sandbox plugins supporting agentic evals
• Implement support for new open-weights models on model hosting platform
• Support research teams with custom infrastructure
