About the role

Visa is hiring a Software Engineer (hybrid, Bengaluru) to write and review code across front-end, back-end, and data layers, integrate systems via APIs/messaging/databases, build CI/CD pipelines, and apply secure coding practices. Requires Java/Spring/Hibernate, Git/Maven/Jenkins, SOAP/REST API development, SQL, and some Kafka/Docker/Kubernetes exposure; entry-level friendly (1+ years).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 1+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience developing web-based or mobile applications
• Experience writing, modifying, and reviewing code
• Experience debugging and root cause analysis
• Experience with unit/integration/end-to-end testing
• Experience integrating systems via APIs, messaging queues, and databases
• Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deploying applications
• Secure coding practices and regulatory compliance
• Good technical experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate
• Experience with Git/Stash, Maven, Jenkins
• API development using SOAP or REST, JSON/XML, OAuth, SAML
• SQL datastores (DB2/MySQL), Unix or Linux
