Software Engineer- NEW GRAD

About the role

Brivo is hiring recent graduates for software engineering teams building cloud video surveillance and access-control software, APIs, applications, and enterprise software. No prior industry experience is required. Qualifications include a CS or related bachelor’s degree; working knowledge of Python, Java, or Node.js/TypeScript; databases and SQL; Linux shell; and Git. Nice to have: AWS, Docker, REST/HTTP, automated testing, networking, and OAuth/OIDC.

Requirements

• Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Working knowledge of Python, Java, or Node.js/TypeScript; coursework, internships, and personal projects count
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL
• Comfort using Linux and shell commands
• Familiarity with Git or another version control system
• No prior industry experience required

What you'll do

• Build and iterate on security products, APIs, and MCP servers using AI models
• Develop and deploy software with agile teams, participate in code reviews, and own customer-facing deliverables
• Build applications and enterprise software across cloud video and access-control platforms
