Solutions Architect

About the role

Trail of Bits seeks a remote US or Canada Solutions Architect to own post-engagement technical strategy for key accounts, build multi-year security roadmaps, scope and price follow-on programs, and support complex client-facing security work. Requires 7+ years in security consulting or engineering, 3+ years client-facing, program design, scoping/pricing judgment, technical writing, and practical agentic tooling.

Requirements

• 7+ years in security consulting, security engineering, or related technical delivery, including 3+ years client-facing
• Design multi-year security programs and roadmaps
• Hands-on delivery experience in security assessments, architecture reviews, threat modeling, or remediation
• Translate ambiguous technical needs into scoped, priced engagements and statements of work
• Credibility with engineers and clear technical writing
• Build with agentic tooling, skills, agents, and automations

What you'll do

• Own technical strategy and continuity for named client accounts
• Build multi-year security roadmaps and technical business reviews
• Convert post-engagement needs into scoped follow-on and programmatic work
• Design and price cross-practice engagements with practice leads
• Support technically complex pre-sales and service design
• Iterate agentic tooling for scoping and account planning
