About the role

Strong company/comp fit, but role centers on identity/access-governance security tooling (Veza integration) - adjacent to the cybersecurity space user wants to avoid for conflict-of-interest reasons.

Requirements

• 7+ years of proven experience in backend software development, focus on identity and access management, security, or related areas
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Golang and Java
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Solid understanding of authentication and authorization protocols, standards, and best practices
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with IAM services
• Experience with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL), caching mechanisms, distributed systems

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for the IAM platform
• Lead development and maintenance of the Access Review feature
• Build and manage identity lifecycle management features (provisioning, de-provisioning, access control policies)
• Implement logging, monitoring, and auditing functionality for compliance
• Enhance performance, security, and scalability through code reviews, testing, refactoring
