About the role

Max Planck Stuttgart HiWi for AI-assisted photonic nanostructure segmentation. Amira/method training provided. German university enrollment, English and onsite work required. 16–20h/week, €15.61/h, initial appointment until 31 Dec 2026; deadline 20 Nov, priority 10 Nov.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at German university in materials/CS/biomedical/physics/biology or related
• Interest in scientific image processing/3D visualization/materials
• Good English
• Onsite work in Stuttgart
• Previous segmentation software experience desirable; training provided

What you'll do

• Segment Cryo-FIB 3D microscopy data
• Optimize AI segmentation and document reproducible datasets
