About the role

Virtual Reality Technical Game Designer on Lam Research's Technical Training VR team: design, program, and implement mixed reality training scenarios for semiconductor equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Game Design preferred
• 3 years semiconductor industry experience preferred
• Unity or Unreal certification a plus
• Experience with 3D CAD models in Siemens NX, Creo, AutoDesk
• Mixed reality game development
• VR hardware and software configurations

What you'll do

• Develop mixed reality training scenarios with instructional designers and semiconductor SMEs
• Build VR-ready 3D CAD models from internal CAD equipment models
• Create workflow from CAD environment to final VR project
• Maintain library of VR-ready models and reusable VR code/scenes
• Support and troubleshoot VR hardware/software at training centers
• Guide and train internal VR developers
