About the role

Tecplot is seeking a customer-facing Technical Support Specialist to provide comprehensive product support to customers by phone and email, resolve software issues, manage licenses, and contribute to product documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
2+ years technical support experience preferred
Experience delivering web-based and in-person technical training
Experience with Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems
Experience with CRM systems
2+ years programming experience using C++, Java and/or Python
Legally authorized to work within the United States

What you'll do

Research and resolve complex customer product usage questions
Research and resolve software installation and configuration problems
Reproduce and report software defects to development team
Develop macros and python scripts to optimize workflows
Develop and deliver online and onsite training
Develop and deliver product demonstrations
Author technical product documentation
Manage and troubleshoot customer licenses
