Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Fintech (BNPL) Senior SRE, remote from India supporting US/Canada ops on fixed 6AM-2PM EST schedule. Golang backend + SRE, Kubernetes, AWS Aurora RDS (MySQL/Postgres), observability, distributed microservices. Requires hands-on Claude/LLM tooling. Bachelor's degree required.

Requirements

• 6+ years professional software or infrastructure engineering incl significant SRE and backend experience
• Deployed significant production changes in the past 30 days
• Strong proficiency in Golang with RESTful APIs
• Expertise with SQL RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL), schema/query optimization at scale
• Proficiency in observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic)
• Solid understanding of distributed systems design patterns
• Demonstrated experience with Claude or equivalent LLM tools is required
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related
• Must work fixed 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM EST from India

What you'll do

• Architect and build scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes, AWS, RDS
• Drive infrastructure roadmap for reliability, recoverability, scalability
• Capacity planning, benchmarking, stress testing
• Define and enforce SLAs and alerts
• Lead AI enablement efforts
• Establish best practices for observability, security, CI/CD
• Mentor engineers
