Remote part-time contract for Mercor. Reviews browser testing workflows and automated tests for AI-generated web applications. Requires 3+ years in software engineering/QA/SDET/test automation; modern web testing; Playwright/Cypress/Selenium; automated UI/E2E tests; test isolation, fixtures and reproducibility.

Requirements

• 3+ years software engineering, QA engineering, SDET or test automation experience
• Modern web application testing
• Browser automation framework familiarity (Playwright/Cypress/Selenium)
• Automated UI and E2E tests
• Test isolation, fixtures, reproducibility and reliable browser automation
• Debugging

What you'll do

• Review browser testing workflows for AI-generated web apps
• Assess feasibility and reliability of interactions
• Validate test isolation, setup and execution
• Check deterministic assertions
• Identify flaky tests and hidden dependencies
• Provide structured technical feedback
