About the role

UVeye (automated vehicle inspection, AI/computer vision) seeks a Technical Customer Support Engineer Tier II for its US team in Teaneck, NJ (hybrid Wed-Sun). Provide real-time technical support to Field Service Engineers, assist with installation/configuration/calibration. Requires 3+ years Tier II support/sysadmin/QA, Linux/Docker/Kubernetes proficiency, networking (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, DHCP), cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), scripting (Bash, Python), Terraform/Helm nice-to-have. Hourly $36-43. No mention of visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in Tier II support, systems administration, or QA engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proficiency with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware and software
• Hands-on hardware setup, installation, and calibration
• Solid networking understanding (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, DHCP)
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with networking equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers)
• Comfortable with Zendesk, JIRA, Confluence
• Hybrid Wed-Sun; Wed-Fri in-office Teaneck NJ, Sat-Sun remote

What you'll do

• Assist with installation, configuration, and calibration of UVeye products
• Provide real-time technical support to Field Service Engineers and Field Support Technicians
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer technical issues re machine performance and software
• Monitor, maintain, and update systems for continuous product functionality
• Incident management: track and resolve technical issues promptly
