Technical Support Specialist III

About the role

The Technical Support Specialist III is a Service Desk SME and escalation point providing Tier I/II/III support. Duties include ITSM queue administration, hardware/software and Microsoft Office/O365 support, telephony and voicemail systems, LAN/WLAN troubleshooting, printers, incident/problem management, SOPs and asset records. Requires high school diploma, 3-5 years in manufacturing or distribution, A+ or equivalent, Network+, and CCENT or equivalent. Work from office in Sarasota with varied shifts, weekends, on-call, lifting, and occasional work in confined or hot spaces.

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• One (3) to three (5) years of proven experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• A+ certification or equivalent
• Network+
• CCENT certification and/or equivalent
• ITIL Foundations or equivalent is a plus
• Work various shifts including evenings, nights and weekends
• Work in confined areas and hot attic spaces as needed
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Work from office

• Serve as Service Desk subject matter expert and escalation point
• Provide Tier I/II/III technical assistance
• Administer ITSM tools, incident queues and problem management
• Configure and troubleshoot hardware, software, telephony, LAN/WLAN and printers
• Maintain SOPs, knowledge documents, CMDB and asset records
