Technical Printer Support Representative I (Inkjet)

About the role

Canon ITS seeks a customer-focused Technical Printer Support Representative I for remote phone support of Canon inkjet printer issues, first-call resolution, troubleshooting, escalation and documentation. Required: high school diploma, prior customer service or call-center experience, Windows/Mac familiarity, internet/email/IM and MS Office proficiency. Fully remote and open to Florida residents; part-time. Pay: $15.00-$15.53 per hour plus differential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service or call center experience
• Knowledge of Windows and/or Mac PC operating systems
• Intermediate to advanced internet navigation, instant messenger and email
• MS Office proficiency
• Ability to talk, type and solve issues simultaneously
• Reliable high-speed internet
• Must reside in Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee or Virginia

What you'll do

• Receive inbound calls and resolve routine and complex Canon inkjet printer issues
• Resolve issues on first call when possible and escalate appropriate cases
• Research inquiries using software and network tools
• Document customer interactions and resolutions
• Assist customers with product decisions and orders
